The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization inspired by the Gospels. The Society leads women and men to spiritual growth through person-to-person service to those in need. Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. (www.svdppitt.org)
The Sacred Heart Conference of the Society of St. Vincent dePaul meets at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month. This change is effective starting on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.
The meetings will be held in the Monsignor Keane Activities Building. The change to a mid-week evening meeting time is being done to enable Sacred Heart parishioners who work during the day to participate in this ministry. If you want to learn about this ministry you are welcome to attend a meeting, or call and leave your contact information on the St. Vincent de Paul answering machine and one of our members will contact you. The number to call is: 412-661-0187, ext. 116.
